We are renting a car for a portion of the time we stay in Bacoli nr Naples. We do not intend to drive into the city if we can avoid it but to use it for travel in the vicinity of our villa as we have an elderly person with us.
We are intending to rent through holiday autos/Hertz etc. We would prefer to pick up the car in Bacoli/Baia or somewhere very locally placed. Any info on the pick up locations from any company as this will be the most important factor in choosing which one to go with. Or will any company deliver to a rented villa?

Poet - Avis list a pick-up point at Pozzuoli.

(P.S. An alternative might be to pick up at Formia and drive down the coast ...)

Many companies in Italy will deliver your car to you for about 20E or so, within a city.
