Munich to Copenhagen

What is the best way to travel from Munich to Copenhagen by train? What would it typically cost?

If the timings were convenient that is one route I would honestly consdier doing by night.

You might also consider a budget flight on Air Berlin

Hi rk,

Ditto Dukey.

It is not a scenic ride.

Yes, that's why I suggested the night train possibility but I am unsure of the convenience of the timing out of Munich.

If you are traveling much more on trains in Germany and Denmark and desire flexibility to hop any train anytime then consider the fairly new Germany-Denmark railpass (www.raileurope.com) - but peruse the bahn.de site for SPAR fares or online only deeply discounted fares, which may or may not exist to Cope - i donnow but then these are restricted, non-refundable, etc.

A full fare munich-copenhagen ticket could approach much of the pass price and you'd have 4 other days of unlimited rail travel in the two countries.
