Here's the website:
http://www.moulinrouge.fr/html_gb/re...n_sommaire.htm
It's a "colorful" neighborhood, to say the least.

I was going to suggest their website also. Pricing for their shows and menus are there including all other information. As for location it's near Montmarte and not in a very staid area at all. It is "colorful" as mentioned.
Is it worth it? It depends on you. For me I have visited Paris with my husband a few times and we never even thought of booking a show at either the Moulin Rouge or Lido. My aunt accompanied me just this past February and she wanted to see it alot so I went with her. I could have done without going but honestly the show itself was surprisingly very good.
We went for the dinner/show package (Toulouse Lautrec menu) and the show was better than the food. It is pricey too.
You can make reservations through your hotel.

IMHO unless you are very interested in extremely glitzy Vegas atyle show but without any recognizable headlines its a tremendoius waste of time and money. Especailly with the meal ths show is very expensive - you would be much better off with a nice dinner and a jazz or other music club for an evening out.
