Monte Carlo Casino/Dress code

Hi<BR>We will be in Monaco next week and we are planing to go to the Casino, but I cannot found anything on dress code..<BR>Anyone know if tie and coat is required for men?<BR>Thank you

Short answer: yes. You might see some men inside who have removed their ties, but they are a minority.<BR><BR>Best wishes,<BR><BR>Rex<BR>

We were at the Monte Carlo Casino in 1999, I wore a black velvet cocktail dress and my husband wore a nice/business rather then formal suit.. he had brought a bow tie, but ended up with just a business tie.. I don't think they would let men in without a jacket and tie. Most of the people dressed like "old money", if you know what I mean.
