Millau Viaduct
Are there any tour operators from Toulouse that go to the Millau Viaduct Visitor's Center and also provide crossing the bridge service. I won't have a car this trip. Any thoughts would be appreciated. There is no way my wife will cross it, so I need a safe place for her to wait while I fulfill this dream. She gets her reasonable clothing wishes in Paris
I would also recommend the "Modern Marvels" video on the construction of the bridge. It is fascinating and would be well worth ordering if it's available.

I've crossed the bridge 4 or 5 times and going north, you could take your wife, say nothing, and maybe drive across before she really knew what you were doing. To really appreciate the engineering that went into the design and construction of the bridge, it's best to view it from the side or from the visitors center on the north side.
It's a good distance from Toulouse (over 200km and about 3 hours each way) and I really doubt you'll find someone operating tours from there. Millau has train service but the visitors center is quite a ways out of town. It's really best to rent a car to see it.

I don't think yours is a very reasonable plan without a car. I highly doubt there are tour companies that do that (but check with the Millau Tourist Office - there are enterprising souls everywhere). It's really too far to go without a car. I would either revamp my vacation to fit it in properly or forget it.

you can get a tour when there and maybe leave her at the visitors center, if she doesn't mind.
Here is what is available.

Thank you kindly for your assistance. I didn't think it was going to be easy which is why I sought input. I thought perhaps there were some tours I may have missed. I am going to Albi for the day, so perhaps I can swing something from there. Best wishes for happy traveling to all of you,

I found an answer to my question. I should have asked about going from Albi initially, instead of from Toulouse. There is an all day tour leaving at 9AM from the Albi Office of Tourism that visits the Viaduct, the Toulouse-Latrec Museum, St. Cecile's, etc. The link is shown below:

You'll get the best view of the Viaduct from the Albi Road as you approach and then pass underneath it. Crossing the viaduct is really a non-event: there is no view, and none possible, because you are not allowed to stop. It's really just like driving on any section of autoroute. Not only your wife, but also your old Nana could cope with the experience!
