Miles Davis in Paris

Bravo had a fantastic program on Miles Davis. They showed the hotel where he stayed in Paris. The Hotel lousitaine, I think it was. Does anyone know this hotel?

I think he and other musicians in former days stayed at the Hotel Louisiane on rue de Seine--a 2* budget hotel. Used to be recommended by Frommers and others but I don't think it is any more and kind of went downhill--not sure.

Thanks I found it! La Louisiane is the correct spelling. It is in the sixth and it looks dreary but spartan.

FWIW: The rue de Seine is a great street in the 6th. Several good restaurants, wine shop & cafes and a street fish market (forgot which day). Very lively and fun to stroll.
