Michelin Map 10 of Paris?

I purchased a Green Guide to Paris and the book states that the guide is associated with the references which correspond to "Michelin map 10, a fold-out street map".

I can't find it on Amazon, or the Michelin site. Can anyone tell me where I might find it? Or should I just wait until I get to Paris and buy one in a French store.

Thanks.

I found a website that seems to carry many many Michelin maps and there's no number 10
in fact, they all seem to have three digits

Thanks for searching Elaine but no, it is not referring to the map in the book. The numbered maps look like larger regular paper maps but I believe No. 10 must be similar to a Streetwise folding map.

I have a Number 10, the 5th edition from 1980. Scale 1cm:100m. It is a big fold out. No street index.

I much prefer my Number 16, a small spiral bound atlas of the City. Scale about 1cm:110m on most pages. Includes a street index, metro/RER map, RATP (bus) map Banlieue (suburban) rail map, and detail map of La Défense.

Hi Ronda,

That map is going to be very difficult to handle.

Hopscotch has good advice.

I agree. A big fold out map is not what I had in mind. I looked at the Michelin maps yesterday at a travel store and not at all what I want for a "walking around" map. Thanks for the info.

The Michelin #10 is the street map.
Michelin #12 is the street map index.
They are not usually sold separately.
I have them and find them invaluable.
When I bought mine, it came when I ordered the #12.

The title of #12 is Paris Plan et Index.
(I am looking at mine as I type.) It 'taint cheap, but it is good.

The #10 is really too big to use without a table, or a bed, to spread it on. Moreover, I find it too valuable to put it at risk by carrying it.

My procedure has been to look up the places I want to visit and then make notes on one of the freebie maps that are usually available.

I usually leave the #10 map and the #12 index in my room.

If you want a copy, I suggest trying onemapplace.com

I have found just about all my European maps there including a very good one of the Alps. The owner or an associate usually responds right away to email.
