Manchester Christmas markets

It's time once more for me to post that the largest Christmas market in Europe opens in Manchester on the 8th November. The stalls have been in the course of erection over the last few weeks ready for the opening and there will be 300+ stalls of all descriptions on show. Lots of food, drinks etc. and it's well worth a visit.

It's poignant that PalenQ isn't here to comment as he usually did and for us to have a to and fro about Blackpool. RIP Pal and peace to your family this Christmas.

Didn't think much of this year's illuminations at Blackpool, but agree Manchester Christmas Market is worth visiting.
RIP PalenQ.

RIP PalenQ.
I can see Blackpool Tower and the 'Big Dipper' at South Shore from where I live just outside Southport. Going to Blackpool this Saturday [rain permitting!] to watch Blackpool in the 1st Round of the a Cup versus the mighty Shrimps of Morecambe.

We went to see the Lights last week and was disappointed. Nothing new and the usual drunk crowd wandering about, poor food and expensive drinks.
