Well, at this point we are keeping our fingers crossed that our original flight on Monday will be OK. We should hear by Sunday and will scramble then, if needed. I must say I am a bit nervous but received quite a bit of reassurance from the people I spoke with at Air France. This may require a second glass of wine when we see you!

Hi KT...Let's shoot for Tuesday, the 23rd if that's ok. In a coincidence of coincidences, we are meeting up with Kim and Mary's daughter on Monday, who happens to be celebrating her 30th birthday in Paris while we are here. We have each other's email, so whoever finds a wine bar first email a place for a late afternoon wine meeting. Good luck on the flight!

Your trip sounds just like my wife's and mine in 09 for our 20th.
For your anniversary dinner I would strongly recomend Yachts de Paris. Absolutly stunning. Amazing food and stellar service.
It is kinda pricey but worth every euro.

We're big fans of Les Papilles. Bertrand squeezed us in without reservations and took good care of us, introducing us to Vacqueyras and braised beef cheeks. 3
May the good times just keep on rolling for you two!

HI there. Yes, I have been remiss, and there will be a report, however the trip did have its pitfalls (not exactly the romantic 20th anniversary trip as we had envisioned…however, no divorce kerouac…yet). Due to an illness contracted on our journey (only one of the numerous pitfalls), I have been working to catch up on my real job since our return, but I promise to get started on the report very soon.
For now, let's just say this trip was "unique." Some things that were not so funny at the time have, upon further review, given Tracy and me quite a few laughs recently, including memories of our not-invited roommate who resided in our apartment, and a flight home that...had it happened a few days later...might have made national news.

I've been wanting to ask this question too. But I was a bit concerned after I saw Maitai's post on another forum about a health blip. Glad all is well and I will look forward to another vicarious journey. (I really feel like I should pay an admission charge -
