Yes there are but I've seen many times, even in the off season when all were full. Lots of lockers at the airport, including huge ones, spend $3 to take the train out there, put your stuff in the lockers and just waltz out for your plane, having all transport of bags done. The airport lockers are in the basement of the main terminal right by the train station.

Garbage! The above post is simply NOT true as I have personal experience in both the luggage lockers and manual left-luggage in Centraal Station being full, with many people waiting for the odd locker to open. Never say never. the last time was last December, during the week between Xmas and NewYears, one of the most hectic tourist times in Amsterdam; another time was the previous September - so twice it happened in recent months. What do you base you statement on? Please explain, mine is on (painful) personal experience!

Dear Intrepid: What do you base you misleading INACCURATE statement about the lockers NEVER being full on? Let's have it why you made such an emphatic statement that proves to be untrue and a disservice to the original inquiry? Please respond?

Yes the manual left-luggage offices were indeed full, with a long line waiting for people to withdraw before any more could be put in. They were full - what leads you to say something you don't know is thru - never say never, never as in this case you are WRONG!
