Are Luggage storage lockers available in Amsterdam Centraal Station and/or Zandvoort?

We have rented an apartment in Zandvoort next April and an early ETA 0700 at AMS. If luggage lockers are available in either city we thought we would take in the sights there in the morning before going on to Zandvoort.

Can anyone help?

They are available at Amsterdam and I believe also at Haarlem.

English information about luggage storage at Dutch NS-stations:

Thank you Tommie, it's nice to know that if Haarlem does not have lockers, the luggage can be left at the luggage depot or bicycle shop.

I was in Amsterdam earlier this month and there are luggage lockers, but they do not accept cash, so be prepared to pay with a credit/debit card.

Thanks for the additional info. Since lockers are available in Haarlem, we'll stop there.

The lockers in Haarlem like all in Dutch stations will not work with American credit cards and as there is no other method of payment don't plan on using the lockers - unless things have changed from just a few months ago

GeoffHamer is i believe dead on correct about that and is my experience as well

You can pay for luggage lockers with a debit card, using a 4 number PIN.
According to the NS site the ones in Amsterdam will accept Visa cards also, but I have no idea how accurate that is. I know Pal had problems with them.

I was just in Amsterdam. The lockers at Centraal do take US debit cards. We had to ask directions from one of the attendants; the locker gives you the choice of several different options and, while in English, they're not options a US resident will easily interpret.

Once you select the correct option, the lockers will happily take your US Debit card. They're neither large nor cheap; we ended up with 3 lockers at $11 or so each.

Haarlem does have luggage lockers in the train station, but as mentioned you need a card with a PIN. In April this year I wanted to leave my stuff but was miffed. I asked a young guy how the things worked. He used his card and PIN to lock up my stuff and I paid him in euro cash.
