Looking for Rental in Orsogna, IT
We are planning to visit relatives in the Orsogna, Italy area. The village of Orsogna is quite small and the nearest big city is Pescara. It is on the Adriatic side of Italy and is about 2 1/2 hours due east from Rome. Not much coming up on the web for this area. Any ideas?

SD - What exactly are you looking for? An apartment? A villa? An agriturismo?
On the coast or in the mountains?
Here's a good place to start:

Hope this helps ...

Thanks so much for the help. Ideally we would like to find an apartment or whole villa where we can all stay together. I think there will be 6 to 8 of us. Since I am not at all familiar with this part of Italy (apparently not many tourists go there), I do not know which area is best. Along the coast, of course, is always nice. But since we will be visiting relatives in Orsogna, a convenient location to that town is optimal. Sandy

What time of the year are you going? I'd stay in Pescara if you plan to be there in the summer. The beaches are beautiful. The small regional towns can get a little boring for kids. They may know someone with an apartment/condo that you could rent. Italians love the beach and they probably know some one who could help. There are plenty of condo's and apartments in the beach area.

I found a villa in Lanciano which is 8 kilometers from Orsogna. Found it through an on-line company called Villarama.com--Has anyone heard of them? The cost is 500 BPs for the week which is quite reasonable, I think.
