I'd appreciate any suggestions for private guides for Prague who are knowledgeable about architecture and the Jewish Quarter.

We used and highly recommend Marketa of Caput Regni Private Tours (www.caputregni.cz). We took two half day tours with her (she did one and her associate Tereza did the other). Marketa is the founder. Both she and Tereza did a fantastic job and really made our time in Prague memorable. You can also read reviews on Trip Advisor. We took the tours October 2015. Be sure to tell her Terry and Mark sent you.

CHECK OUT WHITTMAN TOURS------The walking tour of Jewish Quarter in Prague was fabulous. It was a small group walking tour, but the guide was part of the Jewish Communtiy in Prague.

I am confident that they would have additional information for you regarding the Jewish Quarter.

By the way....The Jewish Quarter was absolutely a terrific area with beautiful streets, buildings, and many terrific restaurants.

TerryLFred - based on your recommendation and reviews on Tripadvisor I booked Markena for a 5 hr tour in early November while we are in Prague for a pre-river cruise trip.
