Looking for a Florence Hotel?

Hello,

I'm looking for a recommendation of a hotel in Florence. I am spending the end of honeymoon in Florence. We would like it to be in a good location....about 300 Euro a night. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Antica Torre Tournabuoni. IMO, it is small and special with a perfect location and a lovely terrace that we had to ourselves most days.

Don't let the fact that it's a B&B throw you, but check out http://www.inpiazzadellasignoria.com/

The rooms are very beautiful and some look out over the famous piazza. My husband, son and I stayed in the Boticelli and my parents had the

We stayed at the Gallery Hotel Art in Florence and would recommend it. It is one of the Ferragamo hotels. It is a fabulous location in a little quiet square in the heart of Florence. It is in walking distance to everything. It is quite a new hotel and contemporary in decor. The room was very comfortable and the bed amazing, beautiful sheets and pillows etc. Nice marble bath. Very quiet for sleeping.
The breakfast was very good. We had a superior room and we would definately stay again.
Only complaint is the staff checking in were a bit snooty. They did their job but without much warmth. It didnt affect my stay there as I didnt let that bother me.

I second Sandi's recommendation for the B&B. Wonderful. You have the run of the place, including the kitchen which is stocked with food and wine. And free internet. And one of the best locations in Florence.
