Looking for a creative travel planner in the DC area

I'm going to Germany this winter (during New Years, and after Christmas), and am taking my niece. And it's my 50th birthday. I lived in Goeppingen as a child, and would like to plan a trip where we can ski in the Alps, stop in at Goeppingen, and end up in Berlin for New Years. Don't think I have time to plan a trip like this. Any one know any good, reliable travel planners/agencies in the DC metro region that could plan something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

You might want to post this message over on the U.S. boards as well.

I'm not sure why you need someone local to you. Is that because you want to meet with that person face to face?

And how much is (not) "an arm and a leg"? Just curious, how much do you pay (per hour, in particular) to get your hair cut/done - - just for comparison sake?

Is that "an arm and a leg"?

I might actually do it for free, just for the fun of it, but I would have about $250 out of pocket expense to come visit for a day with you.

Best wishes,

Bringing your message back up "to the top" since you are new here - - how do I know that? Click on your own name. It's a valuable tip that Fodors fails to provide to you when they send that initial e-mail confirming your registration.

Best wishes,

Rex
