London - Mountbatten Hotel

I was recently in London and spent a lot of time in Covent Garden area. Several times I walked by the Radisson Mountbatten Hotel and was struck by how pleasant it looked.
Does anyone have any experience with this hotel?

I think you need to read the reviews on TA; may not be as pleasant as it looks.

Stayed there on a super discount about 8 years ago. Obviously can;t speak as to the current condition but the rooms were absolutely the smallest I have ever stayed in. I was one person in a double and had to walk across the bed to get to the bath - since the only room for my suitcase was on the floor at the bottom of the bed.

We stayed there on our honeymoon almost 15 years ago, so it has very special memories. We peeked in the lobby two years ago to show the hotel to our daughter.

Our stay there was a special promotion through Marriott points, and I did tell them it was our honeymoon when I made the reservation. We were upgraded to a suite, which was fabulous.

However, I did peek in another room and was surprised at how absolutely tiny it was.

Any chance this is a honeymoon or special anniversary trip?

It's not sounding great for the Mountbatten.
Can someone recommend a great hotel in the Covent Garden area?
Thanks
