Take a look at the Burg Hotel and see
what you think. We think it is absolutely gorgeous without being pretentious and I believe they do have a honeymoon suite.

The MARKUSTURM HOTEL is great. It is so scenic it is on many of the etchings of Rothenburg and has been on the cover of the tour books. You can even buy a Christmas ornaments of this hotel. The owners are also very nice and rate includes breakfast.

If you book room 120 or 121 you will get one of the rooms that overlooks the main street and clock tower. Both are very nice size with nice bathroom. Your room window will be on the etching.

Email is [email protected]. I keep this because we are going back there someday. Location is also just around the corner from the town square. Stay there for your honeymoon and buy an etching to remember the place.

I agree about the Hot Burg - free parking in front also.

We have stayed at both the above suggestions-either would be a good honeymoon hotel. I'd probably pick the Burg- smaller and more intimate.

Markusturm or Burg...both nice hotels. We have stayed at both. Will not go wrong with either. I would pick Markusturm.

I stayed at the Eisenhut, good location...ok hotel, but heck we just stopped in for the night no reservations, worked for what we needed. Room was good, avg size, minibar, and a small french balcony overlooking the rear of the hotel.

Burg Hotel is great. Kloster-Stuble is very nice and their restaurant is one of my favorites in all of Germany. Try the www. rothenburg.de site. It is quite helpful.
