Out of those, I've only stayed at the Rembrandt because I rent flats in London. The location is wonderful, right across from the V&A museum. A short walk to the S. Kensington tube station which will get you pretty much everywhere.

Lots of restaurants in the area as well as shopping. The hotel was very comfortable.

I'd chose the Rembrandt. I've stayed at Jury's Inn Chelsea many times and I like it.But it does require taking 2 buses to get to the major sites or 1 bus to get to the tube. If you are familiar with London it is fine. I like the huge center right across from it on the river , lots of restaurants , great pub and shopping.

I stayed at the Royal National on one of those specials a few years ago. Would not stay there again - the line for check-in was literally an hour and a half long. Run-down and noisy. I've read much better reviews of the Holiday Inn Kens and the Thistles.

Stayed at the President. Not bad, a good location. We even had a mini fridge. It was certainly not pluch at all. I like Thistle hotels.

I have stayed at both the
HI Regents Park
and
HI Kensington Forum

In my case, I find the HI kensington room to be larger than the HI Regents Park. The HI Regents Park room I was assigned was very small (and I'm used to tiny European hotel rooms).

However, location-wise, I prefer HI Regents Park over HI Kensington Forum. FYI, I'm someone who like to head back to the hotel in late afternoon for a rest, before going out for opera or concerts. Because of that, it is faster for me to return to HI REgents Park than the HI Kensington Forum.

Another vote for the Rembrandt. We have stayed there many times and also got a good deal though BA in October. The location is great.

We have stayed at the Royal National and would NOT recommend it.

We've stayed at both Holiday Inn Kensington's (One is the Forum, one a regular Holiday Inn). I don't know which is part of this offer, but both are fine and located almost across the street from each other, with the Gloucester Road tube stop (an excellent one, btw) between them.

I stayed at the Burns and liked it very much. I like that area of Earl's Court, though several here don't. It's located smack between Kensington and knightsbridge. The Earl's Court tube stop is just around the corner from the hotel.

Also stayed at the Rembrandt and much prefer that to the other two. If this is your first visit to London, you'll enjoy the really British feel to this hotel. The breakfast is wonderful and breakfast room is beautiful. The location couldn't be better, IMHO.

Bottom line for me? If all things are equal (price-wise), I'd go with the Rembrandt.

MelJ brings up a good point. The HI Kensington Forum is a high-rise hotel building, which is where I stayed a few months ago. At that time, the HI Kensington across the street was closed for renovations. But looks like it is now open for business and calls itself a HI boutique hotel:

If the OP's list indicates the HI Kensington (boutique hotel), then I think that will be quite nice, esp it has just finished renovation.
