Has anyone stayed at the B & B Swiss House, Regency Hotel, Abcone Hotel, Park International, Mayflower,Kensington Rooms Hotel, Lowndes Hotel, Grange Strathmore Hotel??????I am going to be in London on the 9th of Sept. no need a reply asap.

I was at the Lowndes (although it was last March).
It is in a quiet neighborhood about two blocks from Harrods.
The rooms were small, but immaculate and the beds were wonderful.
The breakfast was outstanding.
The bathrooms had all the little lotions and shampoo.
Lovely staff. Small and intimate hotel.

Stayed at the Strathmore for 1 night of a 7 night reservations and moved out as soon as we found another place. it was dirty and the room we had was a definite fire hazard..no exit except back thru fire doors , and having been in 1 hotel fire I am fussy about that!

Friends routinely stay at the Lowndes, it is a whole different class than the Strathmore! We keep meaning to try it on their recommendation but I keep finding better deals!

Stay at the Lowndes. It's a very good hotel, in a great location. I've stayed there several times.
I haven't heard of the others; is the Park International the one on Brompton Road? If so, then don't stay there.

The Park International is on Cromwell Rd. in South Kensington! good reviews on Lowndes but it costs more, especially when you convert to Cdn$$$
