London GTG - early Oct are you available?
My husband and I will be arriving in London on October 4th and will leave on October 12th.
We have theater tickets on the 6th and the 11th in the evening. Other than that, nothing is set in stone.
We would love to meet up with any locals and/or fellow travelers.
We are staying near Westminster Chapel, Buckingham Gate, Westminster, London
Anyone game?
Where and when works for those interested?

I may be in town. Just got home from Peru and you know a trip is 'different' when your main souvenir is a cane (partially torn ACL plus a sprain). Am waiting to see how quickly it heals before booking. Was going to spend 4-ish nights in London and 3 nights in Normandy but think I'll put off the France bits until next Spring.

Hope the others see your thread topped and you can get something together.
I thought I might be in London this week but my knee is still wonky. At least I can walk now but not major walking like I'd need in the city. Have to use a cane when I'm out of the house and can't drive my primary car cuz I can't use the clutch
So I booked for the end of Nov/early Dec for my birthday -- If I STLL can't walk by then, a missed trip will be the least of my problems

We arrive on the 14th. Sorry to miss you all.
Going to "Oslo" on the 16th, it just won the Tony for best drama, moved to London a few weeks ago.
I've been checking for special exhibits at the Royal Academy, Tate Modern, etc. and have found a few interesting things. I haven't been to the Museum of London since its refurb, may head over there, we also love Tate Britain, talk about miles apart.
We'll be up in Camden part of the time, our son lives there.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
(Janis, sorry about your knee, can relate!)
