London Flat Rental
I'm looking for a flat to rent in London for less than $1,000 per week. Does anyone know anything about http://www.stopoverapartments.com/index.html? I found them on Craiglist, which makes me a little nervous. The website looks great, but the rentals are only 230 pounds per week. Surely this is too good to be true? Does anyone know if this is a scam of some sort?

I've never heard of them (which doesn't prove anything one way or the other --
But did you read "<i>Kindly have a look at the apartments we have in our available apartment, make your choice by completing our booking form, we will get back to you as soon as possible,we love our customers and we serve them better.</i>"
I would run (not walk)
£230 a week for a 1 bdrm flat 5 mins from Knightsbridge tube station. Too good to be true IMO

Hi Becca,
I've never heard of them but I agree with janisj, it's definitely too good to be true. There is no way that the flats pictured on that website rent for 230GBP a week. It's just not possible.
If you're looking for something for less than $1,000, I can personally vouch for this flat which rents for 550GBP per week plus a 55GBP cleaning fee:
http://www.vrbo.com/52647
The apartment is gorgeous, the owner is wonderful, and it's just a few steps away from a tube station.
But there are a couple of important caveats:
The apartment is in Archway, a perfectly respectable area with plenity of amenities but it's about a 15 minute tube ride to Trafalger Square.
The apartment is on the top floor of the building and there is no lift. It's about 107 steps up.

Exactly the same address as one on the 'stopoverapartments' website
23 Greengarden House but over 1,250GBP than the link you posted.
RUN! and thank goodness that you checked in here.

Thanks everyone! I am going to steer clear of this place. Could anyone give me an opinion of this one I found on VRBO for roughly $100/night?
