London
Going to be in London from April 17-20 and would like recommendations for a hotel. Near tourist attractions or close to transportation, good reasonably priced hotel no more than 150.00USD a night. Breakfast included would be a bonus!! Thanks!!

Holiday Inn -Kensington at Glouester Road is your answer. It is less than 500 yards from a great tube station that has many different tube lines(District,Piccadilly and Circle lines which are some of the main lines to get around all of London and the tourist areas). You are also on the Piccadilly line from Heathrow that you can get from in 40 minutes to the hotel with no changes for less than 7 pounds with an Oyster Card so no taxi or limo needed.Tube station has a lift so you don't need to haul luggage up the stairs.
It is in a fabulous area for walking, bus and tube transportation. There are pubs along with a Tesco express and Waitrose for groceries,Boots drugstore, etc. It is right across the street from the Millenium hotel and two blocks over from the NH Harrington hotel.
The hotel is comfortable and well laid out,has great views from the higher floors, concierge for any and all help with tickets, info, etc.,newstand with snacks,Starbucks and sandwich shop on the first floor along with great restaurants for breakfast and dinner. There is a health club along with a cute pub.
I have stayed here for both work and on vacation. You can usually get it for under 100 pounds with breakfast online. My son lived in London and I have stayed at alot of various hotels and this checks all the boxes for price, convenience, good location, clean, etc.

$150 is just a tad under £100 and that isn't all that much for a triple. Priceline isn't an option since it only deals w/ doubles. Hotwire would be a possibility though. Getting a bid at $140 or $150 would end up over $175 by the time taxes and fees are added.
Look at Londontown.com - plus in your dates and 3 sharing to see what comes up. Some Fodorites will suggest travelodge or Premier Inn, which would work for you if they have triples available. However their family rooms (triples and quads) are limited to 2 adults and 1 or 2 children.
You are only talking $50 per person per night, is there any way you can raise your budget a bit?

albionbythesea: Premier Inn County Hall is great - but it doesn't allow 3 adults in the same room. Plus it is WELL over their budget. For their dates a double would run £132/$200 and a single . . . the same. So approx $400 a night for the 3 of them.

Out of curiosity, I tried the HI Kensington Forum (the one dutyfree suggested) and it wouldn't let me book a triple for those dates. A double was minimum £105 and a single again was the same so over £200 a night total.
So - try londontown.com and definitely consider raising your budget. Otherwise you can try a hostel or one of the 2 star places near Victoria station.
(If there were just two of you, $150 would certainly be a doable budget, but triples cost more)
