Lodging in Pienza

We'll be in and around Montepulciano in mid may. Many of you have mentioned how nice Pienza is and you prefer Pienza over Monte.../
Please suggest some hotels/lodging.

Try googling for Il Chiostro di Pienza. We spent a few days there a couple of years ago and would do so again. Also, about a block away is Il Rossellino, a terrific mom and pop restaurant seating about 20 max.

I was just going to try to look up the fabulous place we peeked into while strolling Pienza one day, but DRJ did the work for me. Il Chiostro di Pienza looked spectacular.

I have stayed at Il Chiostro and it is just wonderful. The rooms at the back have a gorgeous view of the valley. It is a dreamy place to stay! Highly recommended.

Thank you so much for your help. I'm trying to make arrangements at Il Chiostro. Also trying to find a 3 night apartment in Rome in mid may - what a challenge. Every place is looking for minimum of 5 nights. Any suggestions????? Love you guys!

I second the recommendation for Il Rossolini - great food, great service, great ambience...
