If you're looking for an apartment I can recommend Il Giardino Segreto right in the town of Pienza. The prices are within your range.

I stayed in Il Chiostro - it is right on the main square, beautiful rooms, great breakfast.

I've stayed at Fonte Bertusi 4 times and love it. It is just 5-10 minutes outside of Pienza and in a beautiful setting.

Enjoy your trip!

If you want to contact Il Giardino Segreto (in old town) directly without going through InTuscany, their e-mail is [email protected]

I stayed in their smallest apartment in September and the price was 45€. I was traveling alone so it was fine, but I would suggest one of the bigger apartments as there was nowhere comfortable to sit in the apartment (only the kitchen chairs) and the bedroom was upstairs from the bathroom. They have a really nice private garden with tables.

I also looked at several other places in Pienza as I was planning a group trip for next year. L'Affitacamere del Corso (in old town), Rutiliano (outside the old town - few minutes walk), Piccolo Hotel La Valle (outside old town - just across the street), Il Giglio (in old town). All but Il Giglio had availability even though I didn't contact them until the first of September for reservations 2 1/2 weeks later. The Rutiliano has a pool and plenty of parking. You can easily walk to dinner from any of these and all were about your price range or less.
