Is the Ryanair terminal located at the Dublin airport or will it require some time to get there? Thanks so much.

I haven't flown Ryan Air from Dublin, but I'm sure that Dublin Airport is the only airport, and it only has one terminal, with 3 concourses coming off of it. So they have to be departing from somewhere in the same building. It's a fairly small airport compared to something like Heathrow or O'Hare.

If you are getting to it from the town centre.

I dropped a car off at the airport and it is on the approach to departures.

Allow 15 minutes walk.

Ryanair is located within Dublin airport (where there is only one terminal). There has been talk of them building their own terminal so they have less costs...but, for now, they fly from the regular airport terminal.

To get to the airport from the city centre, if you're not driving, the easiest is to get the Aircoach. The website is www.aircoach.ie and it will show you the pick up points (there are many throughout the city). It costs €6 one-way and takes about 30 minutes. It drops you off just outside the terminal.

Folks, Dublin airport is tiny compared to most international airports. It will not take you long to get to any gate. Looking back to the 70's it was so tiny. Customs was just one queue and my grandad worked there so we never had to queue! I wish he was still there

Ryanair uses gates in area A, which is on the far right-hand side of the (only) terminal as you enter. There's a fair amount of walking involved, and you should allow 5-7 min after security (pretty quick). BTW there is nowhere to sit (except at a cafe/bar) in the shopping and duty-free area and the only public seating is near the gates.

oh - and another handy tip if you're flying ryanair - if you are one of the first 40 to check in, you get priority boarding. As you choose your own seats, it's nice to be one of the first to board!
