Liquids on airlines within France?
Does anyone know about whether the 1-quart bag can be taken on European airlines? We'll be transferring from AA to Air France, and our checked luggage will go straight through--no chance to pack the stuff if necessary.

They don't check them for intra-Europe flights. Basically, if your flights do not involve US and UK (or perhaps a few other countries in the world), things are just like before 8/10.
All the extra security - stuff in bags, no liquids, pad down - at CDG or other European airports take place at the jetway or a secluded area for US-bound flights.

I think I won't take a chance: I figured out I could stuff my husband's laptop into a fold-up bag. Once we land at CDG the laptop will come out and my 2 flight pillows will go in, along with the liquids, and I'll check the fold-up bag.

I am flying Air France from Barcelona to Paris solely with carry on--a small suitcase and a shoulder bag. I was told there are no restrictions on liquids, US restrictions do not apply. Of course, I will reconfirm this a day or two before my flight in case of any changes.
