shopping in germany

We are going to germany ( munich ) and salzburg next month. Wondering if anyone can tell me what to buy there? Is there anything unique to bring back home ?

Gummi bears made in Germany by Haribo (rather than the Spanish version sold in the US)
Woolford tights and stockings
Cuckoo Clocks, but endeavor to find hand made clocks made by craftsmen

We liked the woodcarvings.
What type of thing do you usually bring back?
There is lots of shopping opportunities in Germany.

There is a wonderful shop in Salzburg that sells painted eggs. It's on the older side of the city (not far from the Mozart skating rink). They aren't cheap - probably starting at aroudn 5 euros, and I think the place only takes cash - but they have FABULOUS eggs painted for all occasions and seasons.

Swarovski crystal is the cheapest in Austria, if you are into that sort of thing.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. We usually bring back things unique to the region i.e. Lace from Belgium, chocolates fro Switzerland, wine from France, etc. But having never been to Germany/Austria, I wasn't sure what to look for.
