where to get a good quality cukoo clock?
Hmm... I have such good memories of my grandparents cukoo clock that I would like to get one for my own home. Does anyone know where I can find a nice quality cukoo clock in the Germany/Austria area? Is there a certain craftsman that builds better quality cukoo clocks? (How do I know if it is good quality?)
Thanks!

Go to the source, the town of Triberg in the Black Forest. They have been making cuckoo clocks there for over 200 years, and you can find them in all sizes and prices, many of them hand-carved models. As well as its fame for clock-making, Triberg is a very pretty town in a very scenic part of Germany. The highest waterfall in Germany is nearby.

I saw cukoo clocks all over the place in Bavaria. I think it must be a rule in Rothenberg that every souvenir shop must sell them!
Fussen also had several shops that sold them. As Tod mentioned, you shouldn't have a problem finding them in Germany, especially touristy towns.
Good luck!
