Limoservice in Rome - anybody used?
I read a post somewhere (can't find it) about a limo service from the airport to hotel in Rome. Has anybody used this and do you have information??
Just a silly question, but is it really a limo or a van???
Thanks,
Mary

Hi Mary,
I've booked them for next week. Their email is [email protected]. They tell me they use a Monovolume car (don't know what kind of car that is) but we'll be 4 ladies with the requisite amount of luggage 4 ladies carry. The price is 52E for the larger car and, I believe, 42E for a smaller car.
They were very responsive to my emails and the price is reasonable. Their web site is:

I also recommend them.
Not that it mattered to me but I was picked-up (just myself) in a large cube van last March.
I'm a truckdriver and I know companies don't make money dead-heading (doing 1 leg of a R/T empty) so I understood.
The driver had just dropped-off a small group at departures, so why go back empty and send out another car & driver just for me
.
But I'm sure that was more the exception than the rule. And my return to the airport was in a Mercedes. Regards, Walter

I've used them too. And have been delighted with their service. We've always had exceptionally nice drivers, a clean and comfortable Mercedes, help with baggage, prompt pick-up both coming into Rome and leaving.
All together a very positive experience

I used them in May of 2002 to go from the airport and then back 10 days later.
They were waiting for me at the airport with a little sign.
They got to my hotel about 15 minutes early to pick me up for the return to the airport.
If I want to be picky, the drivers didn't speak English. But hey, we were in Rome.
Would highly recommend t6hem.
