Late night eating in Dublin

Travelling to Dublin for the Simon and Garfunkel concert next Saturday. Where can we eat in the city after the show? We're looking for good food-I know that may seem obvious but I mean as compared to something fast or cheap. My first visit to Dublin for about 7 years-and Simon and Garfunkel too. Wow!

Frances, It depends on when the concert ends. What price range are you talking? Also it will take a while to get back into town from the concert with the crowds. Here are a few closeby suggestions:

Roly's Bistro - Expensive but just beside the RDS I would say 10-10:30 would be a late seating.

The Espresso Bar - Restaurant off Pembroke Street Ballsbridge. evening menu is steaks, pasta etc.

Lankawi - Baggot Street Malaysian Short walk from RDS mid range

Baan Thai - Mid to exp. beside Paddy Cullens Pub Upstairs. Across from the RDS so you would get served if you came just after the concert.

Kites - Across from the Herbert Park Hotel - Chinese and Expensive.

You MUST book a table now for any of these places. You probably will not get a table in town unless you go to a cheaper late night cafe. Sufi's is good and open to 3am serving varied food. Cafe Mocha is also open late night.

Baan Thai is lovely and very handy for the RDS - I was there just a few weeks ago! Enjoy!

I havent been in a long time but I loved the food and the place is very cosy. The entrance is on the street but you go upstairs for the restaurant. have fun
