LA TOUSSAINT....Nov. 1st in Paris

We will be arriving in Paris on Nov. 1, 2019. I was just reading about this holiday.
Will shops & restaurants be closed? Even in the heavily tourist areas?
i’ve read differing reports on this.

Banks, post offices, schools, offices will be closed. I doubt that this will affect you.

Thanks Kerouac.....I thought you’d give an answer. We’ll probably just have lunch, a nap, and then an early dinner after a long jet-lagged flying day. Won’t need a bank, post office, school, or office
but will need restaurants.

That isn't a major holiday, it's just an official one so banks, etc are closed.

If you have any interest in Pere Lachaise cemetery be aware that on that date, the site will have many mums flowers throughout, due to All Saints.
