Delightful hotel, well placed for Old Nice. Superb accommodation, excellent food and wonderful views. Parking difficult - in garage 200 yds away .Highly recommended. You might also try putting La Perouse AND Nice in the text search here.

I've also stayed at La Perouse and enjoyed it thoroughly. Although the parking is s 5 minute walk from the hotel, it is fairly convenient. The parking garage is actually underground near the flower market. If you stay there, get a room high enough, with windows that allow you to look westward along the sweeping curve of the Nice beaches. It's a very nice view. Good luck.

Hi Rostrum,
We stayed at La Perouse in a triple, it was huge, and the breakfast under the lemon trees was indeed delightful. We booked our room through Best Western international, nice because they have an 800 number and you book here in the us, also you can get a AAA discount, if you are a member, I think they have several discounts. We thought the room was a very good price for the quality, and location.
Enjoy Nice.

We have stayed twice at La Perouse, a hotel that I consider heaven on earth, if you get a room with a balcony and a view of the Baie des Anges and beach. The first time we arrived quite late and got a view room just by asking nicely [in French]. The second time we reserved a view room and paid a lot extra for it. It was then taken over by the Hotels and Residence du Roy chain and the price shot way up. Sadly, we're having to stick with Best Western [the chain it belonged to when we stayed there] for our coming trip.
