While doing research for hotels in Rome, I came across comments on La Calcina, in Venice. It looked so charming with a great balcony, perfect for our overnight stay before our cruise, that I immediately tried to book it...they are all all booked out!

Can anyone suggest a similar hotel? La Calcina seemed to be in a great location, perfect for an overnight impression of Venice before we start our cruise.

Besides La Calcina, we have also stayed at Pension Accademia and thought it was very nice.

Thanks for your help, as always! I will check the 2 spots out tomorrow...maybe see what other places are suggested overnight...
