Krakow Central Bus Station

We will be arriving into Krakow on an Orangeways bus which I understand stops at the RDA Central Bus Station (got that from the Orangeways info). My research indicates that the Bus Station is adjacent to the main train station but I'm not sure if that is the one Orangeways uses. Can anyone confirm this or otherwise? Also, is there an ATM at the bus station?
Many thanks. Clara

I don't know if Orangeways stop at the Central Bus Station... And you are right the station is near the railway station. Where are you staying in Krakow? What are you planning to see?

Hi Clara,

Looks like you haven't gotten any responses. The only Krakow bus station I know is the one attached to the train station. According to the Poland Rough Guide that station has a web site with "rda" in the address so I'm assuming that's the station. The only other station is a minubus station to go to places near Krakow.

There is an ATM in the lower level of the train station in case you don't find one at the bus depot.

Hope this helps!

When are you going? If you'll be there in October maybe we can meet up.

Sorry about the delay in replying - have been away. Thank you anunia and adrienne for your help especially the bit about the "rda" in that bus station address - that was the bit confusing me. I might jsut email Orangeways direct just to be sure.
We will be in Krakow in early June, staying at Orlowska Townhouse in the Old Town and planning to visit the Salt mines, Auschwizc and see the sights of Krakow itself. Looking forward to it!
Thanks
Clara

raestar - if you go to the Orangeways site and start your ticket booking process it gives the address in Budapest:

HU Budapest OrangeWays bus station - Stadion FTC Népliget

I just booked the Orangeways bus from Budapest to Krakow - is it safe? Any issues with staff or the journey?

Also, @Clara: can you confirm that the bus station in Krakow is indeed the one connected to the main train station?

Thank you!

RDA is simply an abbrevation for a Polish term that means Regional bus Station, that's all. The RDA Central bus station in Krakow is the one next to the train station.
