Hi,<BR><BR>Just returned from 9 days in Rome, Orvietto, Florence and Venice - yes it was a whirlwind trip. We didn't encounter any problems due to the war. We met French, German, English, Canadian, Italian and American and everyone was very friendly (We were all on vacation and had better things to do than argue!!).<BR><BR>If anyone needs suggestions please let me know. We made all our reservations based on previous suggestions and were pleasantly surprised. <BR><BR>One suggestion, we stopped in three hill towns - Orvietto, Montelcino and Montelpucino (I hope I spelled those correctly) and hands down we loved Orvietto. In fact, Orvietto was my favorite day of the trip (I'm not the art lover that my wife is).<BR><BR>Matt
