It would be more helpful to state how many bedrooms you need.
Do you have ANY idea which town you'd like to be close to? Rome to Siena is a huge area.
Inland or closer to the coast? Do you want to be near a train station?
Also, what time of year? Sounds like it's summer....?

Hi Jean!
11-12 bedrooms.
Doing research now for June 2021 (parents 50th anniversary)
Would love to be walkable to a small town. Not necessarily a train station.
The more I read here, the more I see Montepulciano and Pienza coming up. We are looking for a countryside, relaxing feel with good food and a pool for the kids. And maybe we will do a day trip to Florence (a must-see for my mom).
It we are really open to anywhere at this point.
would love any advice!
