Is there any reason why you want to take the bus? The towns are connected by frequent trains; I would doubt that there is much bus service between them.

Don't know about a bus schedule, but there are buses from P to A (not sure about Spello, but probaby with a connection). Try one of the map sites for distance.

You can find the bus schedule from Perugia to Assisi here:

www.apmperugia.it

You want "Orari"(Timetables), then click on Linee "extraurbane" (outside city of perugia), and you want line E007

The bus is more convenient because in Perugia it leaves from the bottom of the pedestrian escalators to the centro storico, and in Assisi it takes you up the hill. If you take the train, the train stations are down on the flats, and you still have to take a local bus up the hill.

I don't know about the bus to Spello.

Aramis - Why would you say that? I'm asking for the reasons lovisa indicated and want to see how often they run compared to the train.
