Is Paris a good place to visit for easter?

I posted this question earlier but I can't find it so I think it went into the wrong forum. My husband and I are thinking about going to Paris for Easter weekend (14-17 of April) and are worried that things may be closed due to the holidays of Easter and Easter Monday. I was hoping someone had some insight on this. Thanks

Hope you'll have some answers since I don't really know myself, Paris is so touristic!
good luck and happy travels!

Hi Aj,

Click on your name to find all of your posts.

Any time is a good time to visit Paris.

If you Google "Paris closed Easter" you will find lists of what's closed.

Easter is the beginning of the tourist season. Other than that, there is nothing special. In most of France, Easter Monday is a holiday, but in Alsace-Moselle, it is Good Friday that is the holiday.

Thanks for the information on finding my old posts, it really helped. I'm still deciding whether or not to venture to Paris for easter. We have just moved over to London from San Francisco and have been itching to get over to France. It's not too far of a trip so maybe it wouldn't matter if a few things were closed.

It's my favorite time to go and I've never had a problem with places being closed. There are fewer tourists, and the weather is usually cool which makes it great for walking around a lot...unlike the stifling heat of the summer. Happy Travels!
