Is my itinerary to ambitious?

I am spending the Fall semester studying in Florence, and am planning on heading over to Europe beforehand. I arrive in London on August 22nd-8am and catch a flight to Amsterdam on easyjet at 11:30, should that be enough time? (I am not planning on checking in any bags). From Amsterdam I am pretty much free to go anywhere as long as I am in Florence by September 8th.

So here is my tentative itinerary, any help would be appreciated.

Amsterdam- August 22nd to 24th
Berlin- August 25th to 27th
Prague- August 28th to 30th
Vienna- August 31st to September 2nd
Munich- September 3rd to 5th
Zurich- September 6th and 7th (take overnight train on 7th to Florence)

Thanks!

Should be feasible. Lots of big cities, though. That won't drive you nuts?

Are you planning on taking all overnight trains? Or is the best part of one of the days listed for each city actually taken up in traveling from one to the other?

It's certainly doable - but if it will be enjoyable is another matter. I prefer to spend more time in fewer places, see more and pick up the style and flavor of the city - rather than rushing around so much.

It's certainly feasible but might be quite hard work. Then again you're a student about to start a semester so there won't be a lot of work to be done - ha ha!

Given the ease of flying around Europe, quickly and cheaply, you don't really need to cram it all into a couple of weeks, you could do a few places for more time and take some long weekends away during your stay in Florence.

I would probably cut Berlin out (I'd actually cut out a lot more) & spend the extra time in Prague. From there I would take a day to go to Cesky Krumlov & perhaps fit in Bratislava since it is so close to Vienna. I would also eliminate Zurich & instead visit Salzburg or any of the area between Vienna & Munich ( Melk or Linz for example).
