Is it ok to go to Bordeaux in mid October ?

We were thinking of going to Bordeaux Oct. 18-20. We know it might be harvest time. Is it still worth going? Thanks

Yes. Any time is a good time to visit Bordeaux, a city underrated by many.

Hi L,

If Bordeaux calls you, late Oct is as good a time as any.

Any particular reason for going?

Any alternatives?

If they haven't harvested the grapes by then, chances are they'll all have fallen off the vines and there'll be no harvest anyway.

It's a fine time to go to Bordeaux. Whether it's "worth it" isn't something we can measure for you.
