Info on Dingle, Cashel lodging

I appreciate the help I've received already from other messages and posting my own. Our itinerary for July now includes Cashel, Galway and Dingle (Bunratty before we leave from Shannon). I've got a pretty good handle on accommodations in Galway, but need feedback on Milltown Cottages in Dingle and Kilcoran Lodge near Cashel. We'd like a cottage rental within walking distance of Dingle center, preferably with water view. For Cashel area, something with a nice "estate in the woods" feel would be great, with in-house restaurant. Thanks again.

Near Cashel Dundrum House Hotel fits your description as "estate in the woods with in-house restaurant".

Do not have info on your lodging choices, but wanted to say how much we enjoyed taking Conner's Pass into Dingle and driving Slea Head Drive once there. The beauty is amazing.

Heaton's Guest House in Dingle could meet your specifications. It is on the water. Beautiful facility, very nice hosts, walkable in to town. A little pricey but well worth it.

Good luck.

Dear Voyager61,
You will find no better self-catering cottages than Milltown Cottages in Dingle.
Check out www.irishholidayrentals.com/property.html?id=289 You will not be disappointed!
3 bedrooms, 2 double beds & 2 single beds. Large spacious kitchen/living & dining area with an open fire. Private enclosed garden with private parking. Quiet & peacful location and yet an approx 5 to 7 minute walk into the town centre along the harbour & marina. An Excellent choice.
