Hi,

Last year I stayed for 2 weeks in a lovely B&B right in town called La Romea. You can see their rooms and rates at www.laromea.com

They include a delicious breakfast. The owners are really nice.

I enjoyed the Albergo San Martino, also within the walls. A very nice little hotel with good rooms and exceptional staff. So so breakfast, but you can't have everything. They had parking at the time we were there, which isn't easy to find.

Try the Palazzo Alexandria,(re) right in Lucca central. It too has parking. Very comfortable and the staff were very pleasant people. Not cheap but very good. Schnauzer

Thank you for all the recommendations
and advises, they were very helpful,
and I am deciding between the Bed and
Breakfast and the Palazzo.

This is one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had in Italy. You just can't beat it for price, value and location. Resident owners speak English and are very helpful.

We just returned from our Tuscany vacation. We stayed in Lucca for 2 nights at Alla Corte degli Angeli Maison de Charme. Was a great small hotel, right in the middle of town. Front desk staff were awesome.
