I stayed at the following hotel back in May 2004 (didn't include breakfast, so check to see what they have for you).
Albergo Diana
Via del Molinetto, 11
Lucca, Italy 55100
tele: 0583/492202
Email: [email protected]/
http://www.albergodiana.com/centro_engl.htm
Quoted 67 Euros/night (Total came to $162.92), without breakfast, in the main building
POC: Mr. Giovanni Bellucci
We stayed in room 20 in the main building of the hotel, located on the first floor. It was a nice room and very basic. The room had a king bed, desk, tv, armoire; large bathroom with toilet, bidet, and shower (no curtain - but there was a partial wall which kept most of the water in one spot).
The location of the hotel is excellent just inside the town walls and close to the main sights (well, Lucca is pretty small anyway). Limited parking is available for 5 Euros/day. There is also street parking outside the town walls, but that means about a 20 minute walk to the hotel. I would definitely stay at this small hotel again. The personnel were pretty friendly and helpful with recommendations.

We stayed at Palazzo Alexander and were very pleased. It is within the walls, and we walked everywhere.
We were a group of four couples, and all our rooms were very nice. The corner room was largest.
The breakfast (included) was very good.

Hi ,
I highly recommend the B&B La Romea. I stayed there for 2 weeks last summer and I loved it. Their rates include a delicious breakfast. It only has 5 rooms, which you can see at:

I stayed in the Ivory room.
