I'm looking for sites for nice hotels!

I'm sure all you who are reading this forum have been travelling a lot and so you have also been making bookings for hotels in the net, right?

That is why I'm asking your help to let me know nice sites for some better hotels than hostels and budget hotels. I'm looking for something luxurious this time and not sure where to find it.

Thanks for your help in advance!!

If you're thinking of New York City check out the Four Seasons Hotel on E. 57, the Carlyle (Madison Avenue), Plaza Athenee (60's), Lowell (60's) . Now.. I'm an old geezer so someone else should chime in on the luxury spots downtown where all the action is. (Ritz Carlton is one, I think.)

Most of the booking sites have high-star hotels as well as lower-star, but not the very most top of the line. You might like to look at the Luxury Hotels forum on FlyerTalk, though, if you like really top of the line hotels. Look into Virtuoso bookings.

Five Star Alliance
Luxury Travel Magazine

After that, the top end branded hotels.

If you're looking for truly luxe hotels checkout the web sites of Conde Nast Traveler and Travel & Leiseure. Each year they poll their (quite) upscale readers (many do a lot of paid corporate travel) and they rank the best hotels in each city - with comments.
