Can't we have a hint of your itinerary? Since we're making requests, have an onion soup for me in Paris, a crepe with the works in Brittany, a slice of onion pie in Alsace, and a salade Nicoise down south. Thanks. I get a rush just thinking about it. Bon Voyage. J

Drink wine, forget about school and don't sweat the spelling. I got by for nearly three weeks in Paris with only about 10 words of French. Carry a phrase book and always politely ask in French parle vous anglis (proabaly spelled incorrectly) If they say no pull out the phrase book and you will find they can speak english. They would rather speak (in their own opinion) poor English rather that have you butcher their language from a phrase book &lt;grin&gt; Remember not all americans support the upcoming confrontation just as not all French support their non participation.<BR>Have fun!
