Ideas on a place to stay in the Beaune area

Any good ideas for a two night stay in the Burgundy area in late June? Looking for something along the line of a B and B with charm. Thank you

I can only say we enjoyed our stay at Hotel de la Paix, just on the outside of the 'ring' but walkable to the center... nice patisserie just across and we made our own coffee (immersion heater, cups, coffee tubes...). We booked the little 'apartment' at the back of the courtyard parking area - it has the short stairsteps going up to the door. Looking at the photos on the website, I don't recognize which is that room though - ours had the 'parquet' flooring, a large bed and a single bed we used to pile stuff on...

South of Beaune is the Abbaye de la Ferte, a breathtaking 18th C building with extensive outbuildings. In one of these is La Poterie, a 3 storey unit with entrance on one level, sitting room on a 2nd level, bedroom half a flight above that and a huge and opulent bathroom on the 3rd level.

It is, bar none, the most romantic and atmospheric place we have stayed in 20 or more trips to France.

Bed and breakfast (in the main mansion, served by the owner) is 97 Euros.

In charming nearby Buxy, we dined magnificently at Aux Annees Vins

Sorry, Porterie, not Poterie.

(I do know the difference between a porter's lodge and a pottery!!!)

We stayed at La Saura about a 15 min drive from Beaune. I highly recommend La Saura as do the numerous others. We stayed their in June 2013.

You don't state a budget or whether you'd be interested in staying IN Beaune, but we had a great stay here last October:

Ingress/egress to the parking lot nearby was easy, and the hotel is located just a couple of blocks from the historic center. There is no elevator, if that's an issue. The owner and his staff were very helpful.

Have stayed here four times and will again: www.domainedesangespuligny.com
Super village, great property and charming hosts. At a very fair price, we thought.
