Please have patience with me i am using a german keyboard at the easycenter internet cafe owned by the easyjet company.
The night train was really great. I decided that i wanted to share a cabin with only one other person and that it had to be a women so i paid a little extra for it. i think it was 125.00 euro. Well no one else had that idea because I was in the front car all by myself and it was a very restful journey. It was so worth it and i saved money on a hotel room. i think i will do it again a couple more times before this journey ends.I checked my bag at the station and i went to find a hotel and i did within an hour.

I was refreshed enough to get myself to a palance then to Daucho (sp). it was very moving.

Tomorrow its off to Salzburg for a night then back to Munich then maybe Prague or Milan. I love it!!! its like the amazing race and i am winning!

greetings Lost- I watched your preparations for this trip here on Fodors with great interest. Thanks for posting back to us! Are you really staying in youth hostels? (that's the only part of your idea that seemed a little wacky to me).
