I have ghad it up to here with Delta Skymiles, please HELP!
I have been trying repeatedly for months to get awarded skymiles through Delta on my Alitalia flights from June & July. After many phone calls, faxes and a certified letter, I have gotten NOWHERE. Can anyone recommend a way to escalate this issue? A customer advocacy group or something? Previous calls I have asked to speak with a supervisor which still yielded nothing.

Ugh sorry about the typo.... I looked at an old post that states it could be due to the class that I flew in. Of course this has not been conveyed by Delta. From my understanding the class I flew was L.

It is fruitless IMO. When I wanted to fly to Marseille I had to wait 10 months before the date and call then, I had the calendar marked and I was the first person awrded a flight that day....Delta is a pain in the posterior. I wish I could give you better advice!

Though the Delta site has a different list of codes on this site is says L class accrues no points:

It sounds like the OP isn't trying to get a ticket, but just get points recorded for a flight already taken. I'm surprised this wasn't figured out a long time ago, that the flight in question didn't accrue points. I've never had any trouble with Delta's FF program myself nor understanding it. In fact, I like them a lot as I've had a fairly easy time getting award tickets on them, not that far in advance, during peak periods. Unlike United, for example, where I could never ever actually use my points.

One rep I spoke to actually said that the L Class qualifies. I didn't even know about the pay with miles feature, thanks so much for the feedback! I used to have no issues with them until recently. I used to just fax in my boarding passes and that would be it.

According to the Skymiles website (credit rules and discrepancies) you have to fax or send details of your flight on a partner airline to Delta.
Maybe they are confusing a Delta L class with an Alitalia L class?
I hope you get it sorted, one way or another.
