Hvar - Please help me pick one apartment
I think all these 3 apartments are in about the same area – but if location was your only criteria, which one would you choose?

Thanks C_P,
That's how I rated them in my mind, too
We'll go with #1; based with the map they sent me it's the closest to the water, which I think (I hope) means less stairs.
FYI: on the same map, Hotel Croatia appears right behind Hotel Amfora.
This apt is a little bit more west, but still not as far as Podstine.
Thanks

Hi there. Just replied to your other post but will copy and paste here....
We stayed on Hvar for three nights at the beginning of September 2004. I agree with Nukesafe. cat from Split was quick and easy. We stayed in a great apartment on Hvar... close to town but also close to swimming areas.(and the swimming was Great in Sept!) Stunning view and we were really very comfortable. I'm cutting and pasting a post I made a while back but if you have any questions please ask.
We also spent three nights on Hvar. We stayed in a delightful apartment within close walking distance to Hvar town and to the beach.Bit of a steep hill to start but not a problem and you soon get used to it.
Stunning views of the harbour and very lovely landlady, Marija. She responded very promptly to our e mail and we were very comfortable.

The cost was about 45 Euros per night but I guess it would be more now.
Croatia was absolutely wonderful. We cant wait to return.
I do have some photos of the view etc. so could e mail them to you if you like.Have a great trip.
