Huge Ticket Sale
I'm sure this will be too late for most, and maybe a bit limited in use, but I just purchased business class tickets from MCI to CDG at $1,944.00 on American Airlines. The same tickets for economy are listed at $1,686.00. If you're looking, and have a price alert out for economy, you may want to check out Business.

Thanks for the tip -- sent an email to a friend about tonight's sale and they booked their tickets for next year in business class and they are thrilled.
I got a similar business class deal in June -- my first international business class trip. Hope I don't get hooked on business class!

Good luck with not getting hooked davispeets.
DW and I "splurged" in March and bought AA business class tickets since we had always taken two others with us on our trips, our budget sort of doubled. Huge sale in December resulted in Business class seats. DW told me, as we were going through customs in Paris, that she'd never fly to Paris in anything but business class ever again. I'm not giving up my trips to Paris, so our airfare budget went up. My current plans are to fly at least once every 18 months to continue to accrue FF miles, which will eventually get me a points ticket. See, this started in March and I already know the lingo!

Apersuader65 - My flight isn't until October and I fear the exact thing will happen to us.
I had some ever so slight remorse after buying (my frugal gene attacks me and I have to fight it back), but I hope to be thrilled.
The lingo on the flyertalk forums is like speaking another language -- it's all in code. I've been trying to learn it.
Sformby - great for you!
Both of you have a wonderful, lie flat experience to Paris.
And, thanks again for sharing the info about the sale.
